Giants are at the heart of national folklore concerning the founding of Britain, and archaic traditions state they have inhabited the country since deep antiquity.
These Giants are known as the Ep @Kabamur_Taygeta talks about them The Pleiadian Goddess Mother Aya had to intervene as they were running amok in the lands telling them to go home 😄😃👍🫶💛⭐️
Fascinating how this weaves together mythology and archaeological evidence from the same geographic locations. The parallel between giant folklore and actual skelatal discoveries in places like Cornwall and Stonehenge suggests these legends might preserve genuine ancestrial memories rather than pure invention. What really gets me is how consistent the giant motif is across Britain, from Gogmagog to Jack tales. I dunno, but maybe folklore acts as a kind of oral archive that outlasted written records from those prehistoric eras.
Just a quick correction. The printing press was invented in 1440. Quite a bit of time before the Victorian age. Not trying to be disagreeable but this type of major error makes the entire article suspect.

It is fascinating that there are many giant myths..however there are three explanations that make sense rather than inferring that races of giants existed.
Firstly, gigantism in humans as a mutation has always existed so it’s likely that those rare tall individuals would have been much talked about & become woven into legends that explained monuments whose origins were lost to time.
Secondly, there are myths & folklore all around the world that are not meant to be taken literally - rather, it is a social explanation for how natural features or other phenomena existed, and also to creatively embed cultural mores into entertainment as a teaching tool. Consequently they use elements like giants which people knew about, rather than scientific processes or other explanations that we now know about.
Thirdly - the early Britons had their own local folklore…why are you using Roman & Greek legends at all? They were invaders so possibly (as has happened in other parts of the world) the Britons told them things that weren’t true (in order to preserve their own cultural identity amongst just themselves). The written histories were centred in the invaders culture & religions. And btw, the biblical references for names, events & places don’t make sense because the archaeological evidence for people in Palaeolithic & Mesolithic & even Neolithic Britain are thousands of years older than when the versions of the bible was written by people in far away places, not Britain! The stones of Stonehenge have been shown to come from places in Britain, not North Africa! Also the names of British places were often ones the Romans recorded as told to them by local Britons (but latinised). See point three…
The connection between megalithic sites and giant folklore is particularly intriguing. Geoffrey of Monmouth's account of Merlin and the giants transporting stones to Stonehenge raises interesting questions about how ancient peoples explained these architectural feats. While the reported skeletal discoveries lack modern archaeological documentation, the sheer number of accounts from Cornwall to Stonehenge suggests people were finding something. Could these have been individuals with gigantism or simply tall populations? Either way, it's remarkable how consistently these stories tie to specific geographic locations.
