He is a Los Alamos scientist (and mentioned that they have thousands of these pictures of petroglyphs on a massive database there, so there's that). Also Ben Davidson of SpaceWeatgerNews/SuspiciousObservers. The theory is - thousands of years ago, our sun blasted plasma out - supernova- and fried whatever it hit and caused cataclysms (Ben). Then for roughly a millennia afterwards, there was plasma still being emitted or degrading in the Southern sky. The initial shape of the plasma is the "squatting man" but over years the shape changes. I believe this is what the unexplained symbols on Pictish rocks are.
