The Evolutionary theory was very advanced at its time, more than 160 years ago.
As a geologist I will try to suggest that human race is living on the Earth surface an that is not a big planet.
Now there are 2 things that we have learn in the meantime:
1. The human race is much older than it was known in the time of Darwin.
2. The history of Earth as a planet is not evolutionary. It was in fact evolutionary only on some periods of time, which were interrupted by periods of several hundreds to several thousands of years of catastrophe and destruction in which some 80- 90 % of the animal race have disappeared. So the history of all animals were strongly influenced by these catastrophes at planetary level. The human race was influenced too and about 7000 years ago was almost extinct due to the eruption of Tonga volcano. Some 12500 years ago , it was a comet, Young(er) Dryas which landed on our planet and today there are some historians saying that by that time it existed an advanced human civilization of Earth that disappear. There are other examples.
So in my opinion it is an evolution of human race on large periods of time interrupted by periods of time with strong involution and almost extinction, as it is not only in humans but in other races too.
3. From the XX century we are in a strong decline as civilization, as we are attacking all the Earth and animals and plants existing on Earth. In the year 2050 will occur the next big extinction of animal life with more that 50% of the animal races (they are allowed to have races...) will be extinct due to a big catastrophe named human civilization. Sorry but all these are facts and not only ideas...
Your comments on evolutionary theory are off base. Darwin himself said that if no missing links were found in the future, then his theory was falsified. 150 years later, no missing links. You have to follow the scientific method, not say 'the overwhelming amount of evidence from different areas of scientific research', which is in fact, a lie.
