Many of the cuneiform tablets of Mesopotamia and hieroglyphs of Egypt make reference to the sun, stars, or planetary positions. But the evidence of astronomical alignments takes us even further back than this, to a time when humans were supposedly illiterate. However, with the knowledge they held displayed in monumental forms, can they really be described as such?
Evidence recently has indicated that the root civilization for Egypt was Atlantis, destroyed in a vast flood. Though this happened to a copper age people, their civilizations may have began as early as 28,000 years ago. At that time Deneb, a main star of the Cygnus Constellation was the pole star. Cygnus, the swan, is very important in many cultures.
There will always be those who without foundation will deny this. Since they can't see it happening in our so called advanced state it could not happen in a previous time. We will always have naysayers.
